Update as at 18 May 2006 Get Me Tickets Limited (“the company”) was placed into compulsory liquidation on 18 May 2006 by Order of Mr Englehart QC (sitting as a Deputy Judge of the Chancery Division, High Court) on public interest grounds along with: Get Me Tickets.net Limited Get Me Tickets.com Limited The Winding-Up Order followed the presentation to the Court of a petition to wind up the company on public interest grounds. The petition was presented by the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry following an investigation by the Department for Trade and Industry. The company ceased trading on 3rd February 2006. All of the tickets held by the company have now been dispatched and the Official Receiver has no further tickets to send to customers. Customers who have not received tickets and who paid the company by credit card should, in the first instance, approach their credit card company to discuss their rights regarding the unsatisfied order for the tickets. (Please note that the company sometimes used a credit card processing facility belonging to another business and a reference to ‘The London Ticket Shop’ or ‘The Ticket Shop’ may appear on the credit card statement.) Customers who paid by debit card, or who are unsuccessful in their attempt to obtain a refund from their credit card company, will have a claim in the liquidation. The Official Receiver will be sending out a Report to Creditors and a Proof of Debt form to ALL customers who missed out on tickets, according to the company’s records.
